年4 月より2011 年3 月までの12 年間に入院治療した熱傷患者のうち後期高齢者にあたる75 歳以上の63 例（男女比24 : 39）に対して臨床的に検討した．入院日数では日数が長くなるほど75 歳以上の比率が高くなった．熱傷指数では20～30 が救命のボーダーラインと思われた．熱傷予後指数は100 以上より多くなり，120 以上で全員死亡している．受傷原因では火炎，高温液体，高温物体の接触の順で着衣の引火が最も多かった．転帰では死亡退院が10 例で死亡退院の41.7％ であった．外科的治療では34 例（53.97％）で1 回の手術が19 例で最も多く，6 回が最高であった．また救命のために四肢の切断した3
