Contrast-enhanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance\ncholangiopancreatography showed the pancreatic cyst had a thickened wall without any\ncommunication with the main pancreatic duct. An enhancing mural nodule was detected within the\ncyst using contrast-enhanced endoscopic ultrasonography (CE-EUS). Based on these clinical findings,\nthe cyst showed a high index of suspicion for a mucinous cystic neoplasm or intraductal papillarymucinous\nneoplasm with high-risk stigmata. A distal pancreatectomy was performed, and the cyst\nwas histopathologically diagnosed as an intraductal papillary-mucinous carcinoma.
